What happens when a designer cares about mental health

Mental health, Animation, Research, Digital Arts, Exhibition, App Design

For the major project of my Master's degree I looked into the topic of mental health amongst international students, who are underrepresented in research, and proposed an app design that was co-created with the target audience as well as professionals. The aim was to design an intervention to foster positive mental health and provide users in multi-cultural environments with better access to quality resources that best meet their unique needs.

The outcomes of the project included the design of a number of comics, a mental health app, an animation, an interactive story, a report and an exhibition booth.
